Northern Rockies Nature Journaling Conference June 24-26, 2022

And I'm so excited to say I'll be teaching as well as speaking on Friday evening! Here are the details:

Nestled in the beauty of the Sapphire and Bitterroot Mountain ranges of Montana is the home of Northern Rockies Nature Journaling Conference.

The weekend of June 24, 2022 through June 26, 2022, a knowledgeable panel of instructors will lead us through meaningful and fun nature journaling strategies as we celebrate our passion for nature.

We are proud to present our keynote speaker and featured instructor, Roseann Hanson of Exploring Overland. As Roseann refers to nature journaling, "It's the art of seeing instead of looking. Observing closely, asking questions and reflecting."

The instructors are enthused and will make you comfortable even if you are new to nature journaling. Conference activities will take place at O'Hara Commons and River Park, both in Hamilton, MT and easily accessible. Activities include classes, lectures, panel discussion, social time, voluntary journal share and a raffle.

Registration is open! The fee is $200 for two full days plus Friday afternoon and evening programs. To register, go to the following link and click on events https://www.theoharacommons.org/about-1-1

Topics to be covered include The Art of Seeing and Not just Looking, Blank-Page-Terror to Advance Layout Ideas, Art in the Field, Science Meets Nature Journaling, Tracking and awareness, Intro to Reading the Land, and Expanding Your Views and Improving Observational Skills.

In addition to teaching, Roseann Hanson of Exploring Overland https://www.exploringoverland.com/fieldarts will also be having a book sale and signing which will include her newest book!

It promises to be a great weekend! Hope to see you there!
