From 2006 until 2010 Roseann created one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces crafted from gemstones—often cut and polished by her—set in silver and copper. As Desert Rose Design Studio, she sold her creations at galleries in Tubac, Tucson, Scottsdale, Sedona, and Park City, as well as at curated art fairs. Today, she enjoys making jewelry occasionally for herself and friends. She also created a special set of pieces for the Life in Motion art show at Blue Raven Gallery in Tucson; her work (below) included a copper monarch butterfly necklace and earring set that illustrated monarch migration, and a miniature shrine hung like a rosary, of belongings discarded in the desert by Mexican and Central American migrants trying to cross into the U.S. for work, a tragedy of human migration that resulted in death for thousands of people.
