Skyscapito Appreciation Society Meetup No. 2

Cyanometer.jpg

This is a meetup (not a workshop, much more informal sharing!) of the Skyscapito Appreciation Society!

Let’s learn about and make our own Cyanometers!

In 1789 Swiss physicist Horace-Bénédict de Saussure created the “Cyanometer” using 53 tints and shades of Prussian blue to use as a meter for tracking the blue of the sky, to answer: Why is the sky blue?

We’ll make our own (not as extensive as Saussure’s) . You can check out simple instructions at https://wingswormsandwonder.com/wonder-wed-81-summer-cyanometers (Kelly Johnson) and use the best blue for your area.
