Clear Perspex Palette with Magnet Strip

from $13.00

Field Arts Institute exclusive! Multi-purpose clear perspex (plastic) palette-easel with a magnet strip across the top.

  • 6 in. wide x 9 in. tall

  • 1 in. magnet strip across one end

  • Tuck into the back of any sketchbook—metal paint tins (or water cup with a metal bottom) stick to the strong magnet. Use an office clip to attach a micro-fibre cloth for wiping your brush.

  • Use dry-erase marker (optional purchase item) to sketch grids (Rule of Thirds or Golden Rectangle) or cubes to facilitate “3D Cube Map” drawings.

  • Turn the palette around, clip toned paper to the back, and use the top to mix gouache over the correct color paper. See photos for tan and gray paper examples with gouache.

  • Use small office clips to attach clear rulers, view-finders (cut from light cardboard or heavy watercolor paper). Note: clips, rulers, view-finders not included.

  • Also available as part of the Minimalist Paint Kit (mini paint tin, water brush, micro-fibre rag, clip, spray bottle and pen).
