Wild Arts Bookmaking Kit

$26.00
sold out

There are so many creative things you can do to enhance your field journaling: glue two pages together and make a “peek-a-boo” flap to show the inner workings of something or the inside of a nest; stitch a mini booklet together to add to a bigger journal; stitch feathers or pressed flowers into your journal; make an accordion booklet—your imagination can run free.

Each of these very limited edition 10 kits is housed in a vintage pencil tin sourced from England and Scotland, so each is different (some are very used, some are like-new; not all the closures are perfect so I’ll include an elastic band—the joys of vintage!).

See video for a tour, sound on.

Inside:

  • Approx. 6 meters of waxed linen bookbinding thread and a needle

  • Sharp scalpel with cover

  • Bone folder for creasing paper

  • Tube of quality PVA glue

  • Boar-bristle brush

  • 6” / 15 cm clear ruler

  • Small compass for making a dozen-plus different circle sizes (or half-circles).

7” x 2 x 3/4 inches

3.85 ounces
